The 1001 Músicas cycle combines Nasrid art with the philosophy of welcoming avant-garde musical artists. During the month of September, the Teatro del Generalife serves as the perfect setting for thousands of people from Granada and visitors from around the world to enjoy this experience.
The first edition of the 1001 Músicas cycle took place in the monumental complex of the Alhambra in Granada in September 2021, hosting concerts by Love of Lesbian, Lori Meyers, Loquillo, and Rozalén.
After the success of this first edition, the Teatro del Generalife once again became the ideal venue in 2022, allowing the audience to immerse themselves in indie, rock, and pop, with performances by Texas, Juan Perro, Vanesa Martín, Los Planetas, Pablo Alborán, Mon Laferte, The Waterboys, and Crystal Fighters.
In 2023, the 1001 Músicas – CaixaBank cycle reached its third edition, affirming its permanence and consolidation on the Spanish musical scene. It featured performances by Elvis Costello, Ara Malikian, Luz Casal, Andrés Calamaro, 091, Pablo López, Suede, and Raphael.
